Celebrating International Leopard Day 2024 at Benguela Cove

On 3 May 2024, we will join the global celebration of International Leopard Day. The initiative is dedicated to raising awareness about the conservation of leopard species worldwide. At Benguela Cove, conservation is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to support partnerships that protect these magnificent creatures and their natural habitats.

International Leopard Day and Cape Leopard Trust

International Leopard Day sheds light on the challenges facing leopard populations, including habitat loss, poaching, human-wildlife conflict and illegal trading. Through partnerships like ours with the Cape Leopard Trust, we work tirelessly to safeguard leopard habitats and promote their co-existence with people. By educating the public and fostering awareness, we contribute to the long-term survival of leopards in the Overberg and Kogelberg Biosphere.

Benguela Cove's Conservation Efforts

Recognized for our commitment to excellence by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF), we integrate conservation principles into every aspect of Benguela Cove. Our partnership with the Cape Leopard Trust is just one example of our dedication to protecting natural habitats and wildlife. Our 200-hectare UNESCO-designated Kogelberg Biosphere estate ensures the preservation of the surrounding natural beauty for generations to come.
